Columbia Statutes and Related Information:
Statutes: QP LegalEze contains
all provincial statutes, currently over 500. QP LegalEze updates
Statutes continuously and is normally current within one to
two weeks of a new Act or amendment. Amendments since the
last official printed consolidation are highlighted in green
text to make it easy to find what has been updated.
Point-in-Time Table: This table
links users to an on-going list showing how sections of an
Act read prior to amendments. Point-in-time data goes back
to January 1, 2000.
Tables
of Legislative Changes: This table identifies "Changes
Not in Force" and "Changes in Force". The table
includes the Section of the Act affected by changes, the nature
of the changes, the enactment making the changes and for "Changes
Not in Force", how the changes are to come into force.
Historical Table: This table
provides similar information to the Tables of Legislative
Changes for the Acts prior to the 1996 Revision.
Consolidated Provisions-in-Force:
A complete, cross-referenced alphabetical listing of Acts
passed during a particular Sitting of the Legislative Assembly.
The listing, includes the following information: Act title,
Bill number, citation, which provisions of the Bill affect
the named Act, whether the legislation comes into force on
Royal Assent or by regulation, and the effective dates.

Reading Bills: Third Reading Bills (Government and Private)
are certified correct by the Law Clerk and updated in QP LegalEze
on a daily basis while the House is in Session. QP LegalEze
currently contains a complete listing of all Bills dating
back to 1997: 2nd Session, 36th Parliament.
Rules of Court: Rules of Court
and Related Enactments contains the Supreme Court Rules; Court
of Appeal Rules; Patients Property Rules; British Columbia
Court of Appeal Criminal Appeal Rules, 1986; B.C. Acts; and
federal legislation including the Divorce Act (Canada), Criminal
Rules, 1997 and Central Registry of Divorce Proceedings Regulations.
Regulations and Related Information:
Regulations: QP LegalEze contains
the most comprehensive and current authoritative version of
British Columbia Regulations from the B.C. Registrar of Regulations,
complete with graphics, tables and forms. The official version
of the BC Regulations is printed every four months. A Regulation
may change one or more times during the four month period.
QP LegalEze is normally current within two weeks of a deposited
regulation.
Amendments
Not in Force: QP LegalEze contains all the regulations
with amendments not in force provided by the B.C. Registrar
of Regulations. This allows users to search for and find regulations
that have been deposited but have not come into force yet.

Text Orders-in-Council: QP LegalEze publishes a PDF version
of all Orders-in-Council and Ministerial Orders the same week
that they are passed by Cabinet passed and signed by the Lieutenant
Governor, normally Friday afternoons. This allows users to
view Orders even before they are deposited by the BC Registrar
of Regulations.
Order-in-Council and Ministerial
Resumes: These are reports of the decisions of the Lieutenant
Governor in Council and Ministers and include the Order-in-Council
or Ministerial Order number; the originating Ministry; the
name of the Act which provides the authority for the Order;
and a brief description of the subject matter. The full text
Orders-in Council are linked to the resumes.
Regulation Bulletins: The
Bulletins provide a summary of the regulations deposited with
the Registrar of Regulations under the Regulations Act. The
Cumulative Bulletin lists all regulations deposited to date,
in alphabetical order by statute name. Regulation Bulletins
are updated weekly or as received by the B.C. Registrar.
Gazette
Part II: Complete text of all new, repealed and amended
regulations deposited under the Regulations Act in a fully
searchable format. Normally online before the printed version
is available.
Hansard:
The official, full report of the debates of the Legislative
Assembly of British Columbia. Updated continuously.
